Are You An ISB Member and headed to College or Trade School?

Idaho State Bowhunters offers an educational scholarships of $500 each year and will award two accepted applicants with current ISB membership.

All entrants will be judged on an essay written on one of the three tenants of the following ISB mission statement:

The Idaho State Bowhunters Inc is dedicated to promoting biologically-sound wildlife management; to keeping our members informed on matters that affect their hunting privileges; and to encouraging the formation of new archery clubs who will lend strength to our goal of maintaining quality bow hunting in Idaho.

Scholarship Rules:

  • Applicants must be current members of ISB
  • Applicants must be senior in high school or college student
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5
  • Applicants will write an essay on the given topic, not to exceed 400 words
  • Applicants will submit a type essay (handwritten essay will not be excepted)
  • Provide a copy of High School Transcript
  • Sent essays will be postmarked to address below by June 1st 2024
  • The Scholarship winner(s) will be selected based on school and community involvement, financial need, scholastic performance and essay
  • Winning applicants will provide name and address of the college/trade school for check issuance
