All ISB members are eligible to receive, without cost, awards for animals harvested in the state of Idaho. You must submit, by March 31 of the following year, a report card to the Big Game Chairman. If you delay any longer or require a replacement, you will be charged the price of that award.
If a report card is not available, send the following information to the Big Game Chairman: name, address, game harvested, where taken sex of animal, date of kill whether first kill of species, phone number or email address and name and signature of person vouching for kill.
For first kill of species, you will receive an Idaho-shaped stick pin and patch depicting the animal taken. For all subsequent kills of species, you’ll receive an arrow stick pin and patch depicting the animal.
“Big Game Awards” include: elk, moose, caribou, mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope, mountain goat, big horn sheep, bear, bobcat, lynx, cougar, wolf, coyote, fox, Javalina, wild hog and turkeys.

All ISB members are eligible to receive an award for the harvest of small game in the state of Idaho. To receive these awards send a harvest report card to the Big Game Chairman.
For small game awards you will receive patch depicting the harvested animal. Includes: goose, duck, badger, rock chuck, raccoon, weasel, pheasant, snowshoe, cottontail and jack rabbits, porcupine, skunk, grouse, sage hen, chukar, quail, dove, frog, gopher, ground squirrel carp sucker, mouse, pigeon, sparrow, starling and non-poisonous snake.

All ISB members are eligible for entry in the “Bowhunter of the Year” competition. Only animals harvested in Idaho may be entered. All harvest report must be submitted to the Big Game Chairman by March 31 of the following year.
The Bowhunter of the Year competition is run on a points system. The man, woman, youth boy and youth girl with the greatest accumulation of points at the end of the year takes the honors.
If your animal qualifies for Pope & Young, and you send in a photo copy of the final score sheet, you will receive bonus points in the amount of ½ the value of the animal.
Any animal harvested legally and within the rules of fair chase are eligible for entry in the Bowhunter of the Year Competition.
Small game also counts toward Bowhunter of the Year. One point is allowed for each species of small game taken.
All ISB members are eligible to enter their harvests in the “Best of Species” competition. Only animals harvested in Idaho may be entered. Only species recognized as scorable by the Pope & Young club are eligible. A harvest report card must be submitted to the Big Game Chairman accompanied by a copy of a completed Pope & Young score form. A 60 day drying period from the date of kill is required for the measurements to be valid. If you harvest multiple animals of the same species, you can only enter the FIRST animal killed, even if the second animal is larger. All reports cards and score sheets must be sent by March 31 of the following year. Animals being entered in Best of Species competition must meet ISB minimum score for that species.
